After Hours and Emergency
OCNL St Clinic only offers appointments during our regular office hours.
Need a GP after hours? Contact our after-hours provider, National Home Doctors Service on 13 ‘SICK’ (13 7425)
Home visits where required are available via our ‘After Hours Service’ or via the practice GP’s with prior agreed arrangements, taking into consideration the Doctors safety. Please speak with to arrange.
Management of Your Personal Health Information
Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of person health information at all times, and to ensure information is only available to authorised members of staff.
Medical record transfers can be organised with our reception.
OCNL St Clinic is private billing and payment is required at the time of consultation. Medicare rebates apply. Please enquire with reception for a price guide for our services.
All fees are subject to Drs discretion. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, speak with your GP. We do not want you to miss out on your health care due to financial reasons!
Standard consultation lengths are 15 minutes.
Long consultations are available on request. Please advise reception if you require a more time.
Insurance medicals, procedures, and annual health checks require 1 hour. Please note that longer consultations will accrue a higher consultation fee.
Cancellation & Missed Appointments
OCNL St Clinic acknowledge that unexpected circumstances occur, however we ask you to contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your appointment.
Missed appointments cause gaps in the Dr’s schedule and can cause another patient to miss out. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee.
Telephone Calls & Communication With Your GP
Due to the nature of results and our commitment to protecting your privacy encouraged to come into the practice to follow up on any results. (Follow Up Fees Apply – please advise your GP if you are experiencing financial difficulties. We do not want finances to be the reason you cannot seek your follow up treatment)
Phone calls are taken as subject to Drs availability – our reception staff will always be able to take a message for you.
Recall & Reminder System
Our recall and reminder systems are in place to ensure that recalls and reminders for various health topics are provided to our patients. You can request information of various health related topics to be sent to you via mail, email, or telephone. We also participate in the state/territory reminder system. If you do not wish to participate, please advise your doctor.
We appreciate all feedback about the care you receive, and welcome any suggestions you may have about how we can serve you better. We encourage you to speak to our/email our Practice or fill out a patient feedback form.
